The installation piece drew from the grand gesture a subtle invasion can produce and an aim to bring the surrounding buildings and environment down closer to the river. Working with the elements, the rain that congregated together to puddle along the side walk, produced a reflection completing the remaining half the river water has reflected. To complete this pass, a black reflective acrylic was positioned onto the size of one tile. The acrylic produced warps in the reflections as result of the material not being  an entirely flat on the surface. These altered the way the surrounding buildings reflections were percieved as they passed through the river to the path, and created a distorted perception of the city. This installation also produces the impression of a portal depending on where you stand in the space, as it may dissapear completley.
